Top rules for creating a quality landing page

Rule 1. Leave the first screen alone

Don't try to cram all the information onto the first screen in the hope that more customers will notice it.

Use the 5W principle for the 1st unit:

  • Who (above the product name - the organizer or the manufacturing company).

  • What (the name of the product or service in the center of the screen).

  • Where (venue - in the lower left corner, company contacts - in the upper right).

  • When (date of the event - in the lower corner, next to the venue, opening hours - in the upper right, next to the contacts).

  • Why (write a descriptor - a motivating phrase - under the name of the product or service).

Don't forget about the registration button!

Rule 2. Choose the size individually

There is a theory that the more expensive the product, the more blocks (reversals) there should be. Therefore, some ambitious companies make canvases for 10 or more blocks. If you are one of them, add a menu to the first screen, by clicking on which the client will be taken to the desired block ("speaker", "reviews", etc.). In addition, there should be one registration button for every 3-4 screens. In fact, applications can even be left on a landing page of three blocks (basic information, a list of benefits and a registration block), provided that it is composed creatively. Invest in a good copywriter. But ask for examples of work. Information business techniques like “register and get a million guaranteed” are considered bad form. Don't promise what you can't.
