Immigration to Czechia

Why it is worth moving to the Czech Republic

The Czech Republic is a country close to us not only territorially, but also in spirit. Is it any wonder that many dream of living in it for some time or even moving permanently. To begin with, why immigration to the Czech Republic is a good idea. Those who have experienced this from their own experience claim that:

- Very convenient proximity and the availability of low-cost flights to the Czech Republic;

- Easy language that can be learned in just a year;

- The climate familiar to our body, which you definitely don’t have to adapt to;

- A calm and measured life, low crime and corruption.

If we talk about the shortcomings of moving to the Czech Republic, the most significant of them is the difficulty in finding work - it is difficult for the Czechs themselves to find a good job sometimes, because no one is waiting for you as an additional workforce. We will talk about this in more detail below.

If you decide to live in the Czech Republic, you must take care of the legality of your stay in the country. There are several steps that you will need to go through before obtaining Czech citizenship, such as:

  1. Long-term visa (dlouhé vizum) - as a “test mode”.

  2. Residence permit (dlouhodobý pobyt) - it can be obtained during the validity of a long-term visa at the Czech Ministry of Internal Affairs.
