Bank account in the Netherlands

Endless fields of bright tulips of all kinds of colors, funny wooden shoes, colorful mills and Red Light Street - these are usually the associations that come to mind when you mention the Netherlands. But this is only a small part of what this amazing country can offer its guests. Ultra-modern cities, legendary castles, unique museums, picturesque canals, ancient villages and beautiful landscapes - all this is the Netherlands. Flight and accommodation in the country are not cheap, but this does not reduce the constant flow of tourists. The Netherlands is one of the most prosperous countries in the world: a reliable banking system, a stable economy, and a stable legal framework. In order to live in the Netherlands, do business or start working, you need to open a bank account. As a rule, accounts in local banks are opened after receiving income.

  • valid passport, residence permit (if any),

  • BSN number (tax identification number),

  • proof of income (bank statements, employment contract, university enrollment document, etc.),
